Footwear 001

Just posting the shoes that I bought.
I think I'm lucky to have seen this shoes. I like the heels, it lifts you up but does not slope your feet. I will be using this for a long time :) I've seen other shoes sold in Ali Mall that I like, but there isn't any that is on sale. The type of heels are similar, though it has a solid color.

I like to collect simple Advan shoes as well (the ones that look like converse) so I can have something to wear on a lazy day.

Celeteque - Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub

Heya! Today I'll be talking about Celeteque's Hydrating Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub.
Celeteque is a local brand here in the Philippines. This is my first time purchasing a product from them. I was about to buy St. Ives facial scrub but Celeteque caught my attention so I gave it a go.

It states that:

-It has Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads infused with Vit. E and C to nourish and protect skin
-Has sphere-shaped microbeads for gentle yet effective facial exfoliation

The consistency of this product is watery - making it hard for you to control the amount you place on your palm. However I think that's the reason why it is hydrating even if it is a facial scrub. Since it is a facial scrub, it is recommended to use it every other day. But I don't think that it is exfoliating that much, so I'm using it everyday. It is not that bubbly, unlike other facial wash. It reminds me of Cetaphil, although Cetaphil is quite thicker.

Pros:
-Skin feels soft after use
-Mild
-Can be used daily

Cons:
-I really want to try some scrub, that really scrubs. So maybe that part did not satisfy me.

Repurchase:
-No. I'll probably buy the facial wash though. I will try out another scrub :)

Dutche - Cocoa Tablea

Hi! Today I'm going to write about Dutche Chocolate  Tablea.
I was in the grocery last week, and as I browsed I came along the drinks section. There I went on reading random stuff, what's it for and the like. And there I learned that a Tablea is for drinking. I thought it was just plain chocolate like you can eat it normally. But a Tablea is the one which you dissolve in water as a chocolate drink!

My curiosity was triggered so I bought one. So I followed the instructions -- 1 tablet, 1 cup. I boiled 3 cups of water and then added 3 tablets of Chocolate Tablea. After a while, when it dissolved, the exciting part comes -- tasting!

And to my surprise -- it was SO bitter! I thought it was sweetened! Never thought it would be like that. Didn't really paid attention to the word "pure" and "cocoa". I consulted my parents and yes, they know! They didn't even mentioned that to me when I bought it o_o

But yeah, I added condensed milk and it was just right.

Likes:
You control the sugar

Dislikes:
Has cocoa butter that settles as white chunks when cooled. I don't know if other brands of Tablea has cocoa butter as well. I shall learn about it

Repurchase:
Well, if my family members want to. But as of now, no. I'd rather buy chocolate bars.

Beauty Buffet - CoQ10 & Yogurt Facial Mask

Hi! For today I'm going to talk about Beauty Buffet's Facial Mask. It comes in 5 different essence type, but I chose these two. I'm going to give my brother the gray one so this review's going to be about the yellow.

I used the CoQ10 & Yogurt Facial Mask.
At the back it states that:

Indulge in a sumptuous feast for your skin! Beauty Buffet Mask's unique recipe is made up of CoQ10 to help firm skin and reduce fine lines as well as yogurt to help dissolve dead skin and minimize pores, and glycine to help retain moisture. it rejuvenates skin so that it appears more elastic and smooth with a radiant glow. Natural botanical extracts - Algae, Aloe Vera and Cucumber also help to moisturize and nourish skin

After using this product, I looked at my pores and to my surprise, it was minimized! Yes, that part of the claim is true. But remember, it is only temporary though. My face felt more of firm than smooth. Good enough though. It was sold for P39, but I got it buy 1 take 1 for P59! This is the second time I used this mask and it never failed me! I am satisfied with this mask.

Likes:
Cute Packaging!
There are a lot of facial masks to choose from
Cheap
Refreshing feeling after use

Cons:
None at the moment

Repurchase:
Yes! I'll also try out others to compare :)

Nichido -- Sheer Lipstick with Shea Butter

Heya! Today I'll be writing about Nichido Sheer Lipstick in Pink Ice
I usually just buy lip balms, but I decided to try some lipsticks sold at Watson since all the lipsticks at home are gifts -- I never really bought one for me. So this counts as my first purchase of lipstick! Honestly, I was confused. I don't know what suits me and with all colors looking the same, it's hard to judge them all. The sales attendant told us that Pink Ice was the popular one. So sure, why not -- a random buyer doesn't have that much in mind.

It says that it contains:
Shea Butter
Vitamin E
Sun Filter

Applying one layer, you'll think of it as a tinted lip balm. Applying several ones however, darkens and improves the color. It'll sometimes dry my lips, even if it has Shea. I love the scent though.

Likes:
Good for everyday wear
You can control the shade you want
I like how it smells

Dislikes:
I found out that people says it may darken lips -- scary part
I'm not really crazy about the color

Repurchase:
No. One is enough, good while it last.

Fashion 21 - Stick Eyeshadow/Liner

Heya! Today I'm going to review on Fashion 21's Stick Eyeshadow/Liner in Lagoon. This is the eyeliner me and my friend bought. I chose this color because I really like blue! I didn't base it whether I'll be able to match it with my clothes. Haha! Anyway, it was a random try. This eyeliner comes in a tube that you can twist up, just like lipsticks. Given that, you can easily hold it like a pencil.

This is how it looks when it is opened and the content is twisted. Notice the product is thick? The lines you'll apply to your eyes won't be as thin as your typical black pencil eyeliner. The coverage will depend on how you angle the application. If you are using it as a liner, then just draw a line near your lashes -- I prefer it that way rather than making it into an eye shadow. The application is smooth and I really like the color

Here is the swatch. What I do is I line my eyes with this one, and then I line it again with a black eyeliner. If that is done, the color would really pop-out. But if it is used individually, I don't think it will make such impact. It does not last long and it is easily wiped out. Sweat can erase it too. It will go a long way if you are careful, and if you are not going to be sweaty. If you plan to use it as an eye shadow, I guess you have to blend it with other blue hues to make it more...creative! I haven't experimented on it and, I'm not really that creative when it comes to make-up XD

Likes:
It goes along with black eyeliner
Packaging
Colors available are nice

Dislikes:
Not water proof
Easily Removed

Repurchase:
I think I want to buy the Lilac color.

Eskinol - Ice Pore Minimizing Facial Scrub

I am a newbie when it comes to skin care products, but I am also open to try them out!
Today I bought Eskinol Ice Pore Minimizing Facial Scrub in small sachets. The one that caught my attention was "Pore Minimizing".

Its claims are:
-Removes dirt and excess oil with Micro-cleanse Anti-bacterial Formula
-With Ice Cool Actives to help minimize pores.
-Leaves skin cool and refreshed after use.

It appears to be gel like filled with beads. As I applied it on my face, I noticed that unlike facial wash, it isn't that bubbly. I don't know if facial scrubs really aren't bubbly, I shall try others. I can feel the beads but only some of it. I didn't feel that my face was totally scrubbed. However, I did feel it's cooling effect which I like. I looked at my pores afterwards, it did close them up a bit.

Likes
The cooling effect
Available in sachets  for trials
Tightens pores temporarily

Dislikes:
I did not really felt the 'scrub' part
Not bubbly

Repurchase:
Nope. I'll look for others.

Maybelline - Baby Lips

I like placing balms on my lips especially when it is dry because I tend to peel it off it it does. I've used other lip balms but I wanted to try something new!

I bought Maybelline's Baby Lips at Watsons.
I was quite disappointed when I realized that it isn't the same as the one's sold in the U.S. (I live in Asia) because it is not tinted.

Among the four scents, I chose 'Energizing Orange'. I liked how it smelled, and just by smelling is like tasting oranges already! As for the application, it glides smoothly and leaves the  lips feeling and looking moisturized.

I can say that I like this more than other lip balms that I have tried, because the feeling on the lips is different, not too petroleum jelly like and not to dry - just in the middle perfect to moisturize!

Likes:
Makes lips feel moisturized
Cute packaging

Dislikes:
Not tinted , unless you live in the U.S., you can have one.

Repurchase:
No. I'm going to try another kind.
