LA Girl Creme Lipstick

Out of impulse, I bought a lipstick from LA Girl. It is in their Creme Lipstick line in the shade Forbidden Love. It is a pinkish nude shade which I liked.

Although it is said to be a "Creme" lipstick, it does not feel creamy at all since when applied, it feels to be matte. You have to apply lip balm first to prevent lips from being dry. Its staying power can last up to 3 hours.

It has a crayon like scent which turned me off.

It costs more than 200php. I forgot the exact price. This is actually the second lipstick that I bought after Nichido's Shea Butter Lipstick. I am not yet informed about different brands and their quality during this time. If I probably have known other brands, I won't pick this one out.

The shade is good for everyday us which is pinkish brown.

Swatched on my lips

Overall, this isn't the best lipstick for me, the scent just bothers me and the fact that it makes my lips dry, I don't like it. I should probably exfoliate and apply lip balm before putting this on.

I'm going to be off looking for other shades and other brands :)

Cheers!

Myra Vita Glow

I recently bought a new moisturizer called Myra Vital Glow: Tinted Facial Moisturizer. It comes with a box which I think is a plus since there are a lot of information that can be placed on it.

It is enriched with Vitamin E, SPF 15, minerals, and has a tint. It comes in Beige and Ivory. It is easy to apply, glides on smoothly on the face. It does not give a sticky feeling and is absorbed rather quickly. The tint is not that visible although it helps in making the face color even. It has shimmers when you apply it. If you're not a fan of shimmers, this might turn you off. In my case, I don't mind a little sparkle on my face!

Just becasue it is tinted, it does not compare with the coverage a BB cream can give. It does its job as a moisturizer and the color is just a plus. If you want a heavier coverage, this one isn't for you.

Moisturizers are good for those with dry skin.

In my case, I tried using this and settled it with a powder and it worked just fine. However due to my dry skin, pressed powder dries my skin so I will just use it as is.

Swatch of Myra Vita Glow in Beige
It is easily available in groceries or any SM Department stores. It costs 135php, and has 35ml net content. It is hypo-allergenic and dermatologist-tested.

I recommend this to those who wants a cheap find of something that can even out skin tone on a daily basis!

Celeteque Hydration Facial Wash

Today I'm going to review on Celeteque Facial Wash. I've bought their Facial Scrub last time, now it's time for me to try out their facial wash!

Their facial wash is clear brown in color. It is noticable when you flip the container that the product has a watery consistency which will give you the idea that yes, probably this one is really mild. Upon using it, it does not have any strong odor. It lathers nicely and it feels smooth the moment you place it on your face. After washing I felt refreshed and that my face is soft and smooth. I have dry skin, so this mild facial wash works for me! It does not further dry my skin like other facial wash do.

I like it more than the scrub since I'm not expecting it to be anything but mild.

It costs 119php for the 100ml tube.

Repurchase: Yes!

Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Glow

Heya! I'm goin to show you Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Glow.
It is the same as the regular Baby Lips, the only addition is the "tint" or what they named as "glow"

This has a mixed berry scent. I really like the scent which is new to me since most of the smells are strawberry or cherry. Though this scent still being part of the "berries" gives a not so overpowering smell.

The tint is so light it is barely there. If you are looking for a tinted lip balm, this won't do the trick since it's color is very light and you'll probably be upset. I was upset actually I was thinking it would be the same as the one sold in the US now that it is tinted, but no. I should have probably bought Pink Blast -- it sounded like it was going to be dark.

Pros:
Scent is lovable
Moisturizing

Cons:
The word "glow" is misleading, let's you think it is tinted enough but it was only tinted lightly.

Repurchase:
Nope

Footwear 001

Just posting the shoes that I bought.
I think I'm lucky to have seen this shoes. I like the heels, it lifts you up but does not slope your feet. I will be using this for a long time :) I've seen other shoes sold in Ali Mall that I like, but there isn't any that is on sale. The type of heels are similar, though it has a solid color.

I like to collect simple Advan shoes as well (the ones that look like converse) so I can have something to wear on a lazy day.

Celeteque - Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub

Heya! Today I'll be talking about Celeteque's Hydrating Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub.
Celeteque is a local brand here in the Philippines. This is my first time purchasing a product from them. I was about to buy St. Ives facial scrub but Celeteque caught my attention so I gave it a go.

It states that:

-It has Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads infused with Vit. E and C to nourish and protect skin
-Has sphere-shaped microbeads for gentle yet effective facial exfoliation

The consistency of this product is watery - making it hard for you to control the amount you place on your palm. However I think that's the reason why it is hydrating even if it is a facial scrub. Since it is a facial scrub, it is recommended to use it every other day. But I don't think that it is exfoliating that much, so I'm using it everyday. It is not that bubbly, unlike other facial wash. It reminds me of Cetaphil, although Cetaphil is quite thicker.

Pros:
-Skin feels soft after use
-Mild
-Can be used daily

Cons:
-I really want to try some scrub, that really scrubs. So maybe that part did not satisfy me.

Repurchase:
-No. I'll probably buy the facial wash though. I will try out another scrub :)

Dutche - Cocoa Tablea

Hi! Today I'm going to write about Dutche Chocolate  Tablea.
I was in the grocery last week, and as I browsed I came along the drinks section. There I went on reading random stuff, what's it for and the like. And there I learned that a Tablea is for drinking. I thought it was just plain chocolate like you can eat it normally. But a Tablea is the one which you dissolve in water as a chocolate drink!

My curiosity was triggered so I bought one. So I followed the instructions -- 1 tablet, 1 cup. I boiled 3 cups of water and then added 3 tablets of Chocolate Tablea. After a while, when it dissolved, the exciting part comes -- tasting!

And to my surprise -- it was SO bitter! I thought it was sweetened! Never thought it would be like that. Didn't really paid attention to the word "pure" and "cocoa". I consulted my parents and yes, they know! They didn't even mentioned that to me when I bought it o_o

But yeah, I added condensed milk and it was just right.

Likes:
You control the sugar

Dislikes:
Has cocoa butter that settles as white chunks when cooled. I don't know if other brands of Tablea has cocoa butter as well. I shall learn about it

Repurchase:
Well, if my family members want to. But as of now, no. I'd rather buy chocolate bars.
